We woke up quite early this morning and headed up to the mountains close to Las Palmas to find the Canarian cavemen. Word cavemen is maybe a little too rough word for these happy folks. People actually still live in the caves and with the help of our friend Pasi we got the chance of visiting one of the families. It was cool to see that there actually lives a full community of people in the mountain caves and that they have every basic need just next to them including a market, a church and a few restaurants. We also visited one of these restaurants that had excellent rabbit courses and tapas.
After the caves we drove down next to Puerto Rico for some climbing and cliff-diving and Pasi almost got himself killed jumping into a huge swell next to some really pointy rocks. Funny thing in the locations was, that there were maybe a million small crabs just hanging in the sun and the small tide-ponds.
The filming day ended with some sandy Nordic-skiing action in Maspalomas' sand-dunes. The sand was super good and the shots unbelievable.
We have an early a early wake-up as we start heading to our main ski-objective of the trip, the Mount Teide.
