We woke up quite early and after a few hours of just laying low at Pasi's apartment, we decided to head to the beach and leave most of the cameras back home. We put our surfboards on top of the car just in case someone would like to paddle in if the swell would be right.
Once we got down to the beach we saw that the swell was a little bit smaller than the first time we visited the same Faro beach. So we went straight into the water. Smaller waves equals better chances for not so good surfers like us.
After a couple of waves and dozens of tumbles in the nature's washing machine it was time to chill. The whole trip has been such a fuzz that our crew really hasn't had any proper day off. Now was the time for that and as we really needed to charge our batteries, we decided to just stay on the beach and hang out and have a couple of beers with some of our friends we have met here during our stay.
Once we got back to Pasi's place from the beach Arto starts talking that he wants to go film some rock climbing on a spot he saw from the car a few days back. So whatta heck, let's go do something rather than just sleep.
The climbing looked cool and Ape and Pasi were having the time of their lives. The climbing itself probably wasn't that hard for the guys, but it was the backdrop that made the place so special. Ocean hitting the waves next to the rock you're climbing on and an old cement factory just silently lying in the background. It is kind of sad that so many people come here and never see this kind of stuff as they just lie on the beaches next to all the resorts.
We still have some stuff to shoot today and we need to go pick up our flight tickets from the Las Palmas airport. Maybe we'll go fishing in the evening if we are able to find some rods and hooks from here or Las Palmas. Anyway, we are off to the next location tomorrow where we got ourselves invited to by a guy called Omar. Now for a quick swim in the pool and then we are off to work.
